I was sitting in Church yesterday and in one moment my heart was overwhelmed with joy. It was not because of the video….the music…and not even the message. All these things were great and I enjoyed all of them. However, the JOY came when I heard the stories of my friends and how God has changed their life. It was simple. Very simple. Written on pieces of cardboard. They held them up and as they walked down the isle my heart was jumping. Presenting the Gospel is so Simple. What has Jesus done for you? Tell it to everyone!!!!

I am grateful for the influences in my Life

Being raised a pastor’s kid I have been privileged to meet several church leaders up close and personal. I would not be the person I am today without leaders taking the time to speak into my life.  

One of the downfalls of meeting such dominate personalities is that it would be easy to fall into their mold instead of being the person I was created to be. We are each made uniquely and wonderfully. We need to enjoy being the person God has called us to be!

Ed Young Jr is a pastor of a church in Grapevine Texas. I have had the pleasure of being at his church and conference. I did not know he was a rapper….  He is a good example of being himself….His father is also a pastor but has a completely different flavor than Jr.  THANKS ED for UBU!
